This piece (the origianal painting now residing in Australia) was inspired after my return to the uk from The Sudan, a country with very little rainfall.  One day I was watching the raindrops trickling down the window and thinking how beautiful they were and it occured to me how we take this precious resource for granted.  It was then that I decided to paint a picture where I would incorporate fine silver leaf and sterling silver- I aimed to capture the essence of water and ponder the question  'What is more precious, the precious metal or the water that it represents?'
I am commited to highlighting nature's beauty and inspriring thoughtful reflection through my art.  This piece not only enhances any space but encourages a deeper appreciation of our natural resources.
