This project started on my return to the UK from Sudan - Having lived in a country with very little rainfall and creating works about water, I was pondering the conundrum of what is more precious - the water my work represented or the value of the materials used. I would often sit and observe the trickles of rain running down windows and this quiet meditative occupation lead me to make a series of paintings and jewellery titled ‘Silver Rain’.
This is still an ongoing evolving project.
